Where is City Church?

City Church is located in Halifax (Spryfield), Nova Scotia, Canada. Halifax is the capital of the province of Nova Scotia, which is located on the east coast of the country of Canada. Our province is referred to being a part of the “Maritime Provinces.” The Maritime Provinces consist of Nova Scotia,
Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.

What Does City Church Believe?

City Church is a Bible believing body and believes one must be born-again according to John 3:3. We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ His only Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe in living a life according to the Word of God, and obeying the commandments of Jesus Christ.

We believe salvation is by faith and that:

“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

“Even though we were still sinners, Christ loves us, and died for us” (Romans 5:8).

“Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”
(Romans 10:13).

Who can come to City Church?

“Seek and you will find…” (Matthew 7:7). All those seeking to know more about God and His Son Jesus Christ are welcome.

Is City Church a part of a national denomination?

Yes.  City Church is a part of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Canada.
