Do I have to have a High School Diploma to be accepted?

In most cases we would like our students to finish their grade 12 education before starting our courses, however, if you are a mature student (Beyond the age of High School - as we prefer High School students to finish High School First) exceptions are made on a person by person bases. (Pastoral recommendations are required.)

Can I take the courses just for fun and not for credit?

Yes you can, but our teaching staff will only grade assignments of those who are taking our courses for credit and working toward an online diploma.

How many courses do I need to take to finish?

Does finishing all required courses and receiving an online diploma guarantee someone a ministers license with the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Canada?

No it does not.  The PHCC has its own application process and guidelines which also requires recommendations from other ministers within the PHCC. We recommend that you read the PHCC/IPHC articles of faith to see what the Denomination believes.  Please see the next question below. Can I receive DVD's or VHS tapes with courses through the mail?

No you can not.  Our school is internet only.  We feel that since the courses are free, you can buy a inexpensive computer and begin taking courses.

Can I mail in homework assignments?

Because we are an internet school, we prefer everything to be sent and received through the internet.  If you would like to send in an assignment through mail, please discuss this with Dr. Kiesekamp through email. ccbi.citychurch@ns.sympatico.ca

Do I have to attend a Pentecostal Holiness Church in order to be accepted?

No you don't.  We have many students from different denominations taking online courses. But please understand, we are a recognized school of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Canada and stand with those beliefs and doctrines.  Other denominations may not accept CCBI for license.

Is there any prescribed order in which I have to take these courses?

We advise starting with some of the Bible Major courses, but that is not a requirement; it is best to start with a course of interest to you first.
