“Be anxious for nothing!” That’s the advice of the Apostle Paul. He says the direction you must walk is to anchor your soul in God and you will secure victory in your life. Remember what Psalm 46 says, “God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble.”

We have all heard of the expression, “You can’t take it with you.” But Christians know we can send it on ahead, by investing it in people who are going there. The Bible says that by doing this they will be storing up “real treasure for themselves in Heaven (Matthew 6:20).”

The power of the Lord is always present and there is no limit to what God can do in and through and for you. One of the key things we must do is follow John the Baptist’s advice: “He (Jesus) must increase and I (John) must decrease (John3:30).” As Jesus increases in us we find more wisdom, more encouragement, more joy, more mercy, more of everything we desire. Only a close walk with Jesus can satisfy!

The Psalmist cries, “O magnify the Lord with me!” (Psalm 34:3) There is a wonderful blessing when we do that because the closer we are to God, the more we are infused by His strength. In His presence, the trials of this life shrink in proportion. When pressures mount – the answer is to retreat into God’s wonderful keeping presence. Do not magnify your problems; let God be exalted!

The Bible says, “Give and it will be given to you” (Luke 6:38). Your giving is what sets the blessings of God into motion in your life. When we obey God in giving, we get an abundant harvest in return. And the cycle just keeps repeating itself. Be confident in God’s Word!
